We upgraded our Daily UV Defense Sunscreen to offer stronger broad-spectrum protection against UV rays with Broad Spectrum SPF 50+. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S., and it can affect people of all ages, skin tones, and types. The good news? It’s largely preventable with daily sunscreen use. That’s why we’ve upgraded our formula to help you stay better protected, every day.

How is this different than the SPF 36 version?

We kept everything you already love, like the lightweight texture, no white cast finish, vegan, cruelty-free formula that’s free of octinoxate and oxybenzone. However, we also listened to your feedback and made some meaningful upgrades. The new SPF 50+ version offers even stronger sun protection, and it’s now formulated to be suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin. It’s non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. Plus, it’s earned the Skin Cancer Foundation’s Daily Use Seal of Recommendation, so you can feel even more confident using it every day.

What does PA rating mean?

PA rating scale indicates how well the formula protects against UVA rays, which are the harmful rays that penetrate deeper into the skin and cause aging. UVB rays, on the other hand, are the main cause of sunburn and are responsible for directly damaging the top-most layer of skin.
